Welcome Dr. Saima Ismaili to Lowcountry Ambulatory Center!

Lowcountry Ambulatory Center welcomes Dr. Saima Ismaili as its newest surgeon. Dr. Ismaili practices as a podiatrist at Carolina Foot Centers. She obtained her podiatric degree at the Dr. William M. School College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, which she graduated from in 2006. Her post-graduate training consisted of two years of medical and surgical training at Provena St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois outside of Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Ismaili was trained in all phases of podiatric medicine and surgery. She is currently Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the South Carolina State Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Ismaili spent the majority of her childhood in Lexington, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky, during this time she visited Charleston and fell in love with the city. Upon completing her training she lived and worked in Orangeburg, South Carolina for four years before finally finding her way to Charleston. drfamily Dr. Ismaili has been married to Sajid Sheikh for 10 years. They have 3 children together: one boy, Safan (8) and twin girls, Sheena and Safeena (5).
