This month’s employee spotlight is Staci Merritt, Nurse Manager at Moore Orthopaedic Clinic Outpatient Surgery Center. This year, Staci has been at Moore for 6 years. She has been in nursing for 20 years now. She received her AA in Nursing from Midlands and her BSN from Lander University. Staci loves her job because of the people she gets to work with. She enjoys the staff, helping patients and loves all of the surgeons. She loves to spend time with her family. She has been married to her husband, Kyle, for over 20 years. They have 2 children, Marissa and Kaleb, and 3 dogs, Bo, Bella and Maggie. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, decorating her house, dancing, boat rides and watching the sunset. Other hobbies include crafting, baking, clogging and hanging out with friends. The staff at Moore is extremely fond of Staci. In 2014 they gave her the “Best Boss Award” to show her that she is appreciated. Scott Zigila, Business Office Coordinator said that Staci really is the “best boss in the world!”
