Dr. Eric Pearson received his medical training at the Medical University of South Carolina and then completed his residency in anesthesiology and pain management training at the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB). He was the chief resident during this time and received the Dripps Award for outstanding resident. He later founded The Pain Treatment Center in Meridian, MS before co-founding Total Pain Care. He has served on the board and is the past president of both the Mississippi Pain Sociaety and the Southern Pain Society.
In addition to having a busy private practice, he is on the consulting staff of the local hospitals and is on the Cancer Care Committee at Anderson Hospital. He is board certified in anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Pain Medicine.
He currently lives in Meridian, MS with his wife. He is an active long distance runner and has completed the Boston Marathon and the New York Marathon multiple times. He became interested in regenerative medicine because of knee pain that threatened, before treatment, to bring an end to his running.
