Earl B. McFadden Jr., MD, received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his internship at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, South Carolina, and his residency at Johns Hopkins University/Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. He completed a fellowship at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and currently serves as a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
Dr. McFadden is a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Association of Hand Surgery and is affiliated with Lima Corporate and Biomet, Inc., for shoulder arthroplasty. His specialties and clinical interests include hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder surgery, fracture care, shoulder arthroscopy, impingement surgery, total shoulder replacement surgery, reverse shoulder replacements, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve compression surgery, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, tendon reconstructive surgery and arthritis reconstructive surgery.
