Practice Partners is a privately held, Alabama-based corporation dedicated to the provision of management and operational services to ambulatory surgical centers within the United States. Practice Partners is a developer, manager and minority equity share holder in ASCs. 

Since its inception on January 17, 2005, Practice Partners has secured 10 locations in 5 states and others under development in a variety of phases. The company provides a range of services from CON procurement, site development, and start up to management, business line development and syndication. Practice Partners is incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.

Practice Partners was founded by Larry D. Taylor following 18 years with a large, for-profit healthcare company. Larry and his business partner, Mike Rickman wanted to utilize the expertise and experience gained in that setting to provide a service to physicians and patients that was largely absent in the big business healthcare sector. Their vision is to place the physician and patient at the center of the healthcare model. They are building a healthcare entity that has already been recognized for operational excellence and fairness to its partners.

We are a one-stop-shop; we assist with the planning of the facility design, equipment planning, financing, equipment and supply procurement, scheduling, staffing, licensure, Medicare Certification, accreditation, managed care negotiations, contracting with other entities and day to day management of the center. We develop the initial business plan and proforma, to determine if the project potential meets the expectations of the partnership, at no cost.

Our development is free, that is there is no fee for the development. This allows the partnership to investigate a successful venture without a large upfront capital investment. We can then focus on quality services, equipment and staff to provided the finest clinical outcomes and financial rewards.
